As the title says, certain images including my "most popular" one, have been scrapped.
It's been years since I joined dA and I guess it's time I stop treating it like an art dump...of sorts. Out with the old and in with the new, as they say.
Having said that, I still have a number of pieces waiting to be posted orz. One day!

Also, I've been getting some notes lately about commissions and rather than replying to them individually because I'm a lazy twat, I'll just address them here:

Do you take commissions?
-Not at the moment. Truth is, I don't know how to go about it. I'm not sure what the standards are for pricing and time constraints. I like the idea of doing them, but I'm a total noob at it. If you're interested, leave a comment/suggestion on what would be (reasonably) ideal for you and me and maybe we can get the ball rolling...maybe

Can you make tutorials on...
-Trust me, you're better off learning from someone else D:
Truth be told, quite a bit of my knowledge now, I learned by looking up tutorials here on dA. Heck, although I've never actually said it, my current technique for coloring/shading is actually a modified version of my friend :iconmleth: 's (Who btw, has a crazy sick gallery going on...and he's damn active!) Those tuts are top, mate
I honestly can't teach anyone any techniques that has already been taught by artists way better than I am ;_;

Do you livestream?
-LOL. If I ever did one, it'll be very long and boring!

That's all for now, folks.

Peace!

I too would be interested in a possible commission. Although I am fairly new to this, as opposed to Elee down here, I would be more than willing to pay around 30-40, judging by the quality of your artworks.

As of suggestions, I'd think that the price would vary depending on the complexity as well as perhaps the degree of artistic freedom permitted. If I were in your shoes, I'd make a guesstimation of what I think it's worth, and then ask the client to do the same. Bargain and try to find a middle that is worth your time and talent. Then again, I don't draw nor do commissions, so I'm just saying what *I* think would work.

Add me to the same list as Elee for the commission lol.

I commission a lot of artists and am interested in commissioning you. I can help you if you have any questions.

For pricing, I always think it's best to let the market dictate your pricing. Basically start low, then adjust your price up based on demand. That way, you'll get a steady flow of commissions without getting flooded. You should take into account your speed. If you work fast, you can charge lower. If you work slow, you should charge higher.

Honestly, the quality of work you produce, you should be able to charge in the $30-$50 range for a colored piece once you get more established. Since you are just starting out, you probably should charge in the $10-$20 range. To start, set your prices and how you want to handle payment. Do you have a paypal account? Another option is the DeviantART commission system, but that's only available to premium subscribers.

Thanks for the advice!
Those prices sound good to me (even after taking my speed into consideration haha)
I do have a paypal account...somewhere, though I think I'll make a separate one if I wanna start this.
One question though: How does payment work? Does it usually happen beforehand or on delivery?

It varies. Some artists take it all before. Some take it all after. Some take half on each. Some want it after a sketch. It's up to what you are comfortable with and how confident you are that the buyer will deliver. There are some bad guys out there that trick you into doing something and don't pay at the end, so you should try to protect yourself from that.

Thanks for the suggestion! Sorry for the late reply - I've been pretty swamped at work.
I have an account I barely ever use...and I don't really know how it works D: I'll figure it out though!
Just gotta finish my current project at work before I test the waters. Hopefully within the coming weeks!
Thanks again for the help =)
